Gary C. Bell, Senior Vice President

Gary C. Bell, FACHE, is a Senior Vice President of Coker Group, where he specializes in transactions and strategic advisory solutions for hospitals, health systems and other healthcare facilities.  Mr. Bell brings a breadth of knowledge and understanding of hospitals and health systems as a seasoned professional with more than 42 years of healthcare experience.  In his work, Mr. Bell has worked on more than $2.5 billion in healthcare facility transactions throughout the United States, including deals involving not-for-profit hospitals, for-profit health systems and ancillary facilities within both rural and urban markets. Mr. Bell’s extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry includes the hospital acquisition and divesture process, purchasing and leasing of healthcare facilities and related assets, hospital / physician relations, financial management and operations, and general market strategy. This experience has resulted in Mr. Bell being recognized by industry leaders and media outlets as a widely respected and influential operator within the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining Coker Group, Gary served as a senior executive for major investor-owned hospital companies and advised hospitals in Austria, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.  Mr. Bell holds a B.S. from Emory University as well as a Master of Hospital Administration from Georgia State University. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
