Assessment PhaseTo determine the best strategy for an executive search, Coker will conduct an onsite assessment of your organization’s structure, strategic goals, culture, and needs by interviewing members of the leadership team involved in the hiring process. A tailored position description and candidate profile are prepared. Subsequent conversations confirming the accuracy of the position description and candidate profile will become the foundation for the search and the candidate’s mandate upon hire. Identification, Recruitment, and Care of CandidatesTo ensure the sourcing of qualified candidates, Coker conducts a regional/national search utilizing a variety of sources including the direct contact of candidates, referrals, Coker’s database and extensive healthcare network, and advertising. In-depth interview evaluations are conducted by phone and in person to assess a candidates potential for success. A candidate is never submitted to the client without passing this evaluation. Clients receive an in-depth position specific candidate profile for each candidate. A behavioral assessment is included to provide additional information that assists in the interview and decision making process. This information can later be used for retention and professional development. Evaluation, Interviews, and SelectionThe interview selection process is clearly defined with each client. We are available to assist in designing the interview and to participate in onsite interviews. Coker provides full support to our clients during the interview, negotiation, and conclusion of the search process. This includes interview coordination, negotiation, candidate acceptance, and on-boarding transition. To enhance the speed with which the new executive becomes productive, Coker will perform a new leader assimilation assessment. This process will commence approximately 60 days from the start date of the new executive.
